- The tour covers only the exterior areas of the castle, as guides are not allowed inside the buildings during the visit. After the tour, you can explore the interior independently.
- Backpacks over 30L and suitcases are not permitted inside Edinburgh Castle.
- Please note: The Honours of Scotland (the Crown Jewels) will be closed from 12 January until Easter 2026.
